Course

Associate student

Becoming an associate student is another option for those who wish to “choose only courses of their interest” that the School of Applied Statistics offers in each semester. Classes will run together with those of master’s students and “credits may be held” for when applying to become regular students at the Institute (credits may be held for 5 years upon achievement). 

Applicants should submit documents to become associate students at least 1 week prior to classes commencing or no later than the first week of classes. 

Application processes

  • Choose the courses of interest that the School offers in the semester by checking the timetable and the available courses on the School’s website.
  • Submitting the associate student request application
    Specify the course code + course name
    Course group (e.g. R1, B1)
    Type of enrollment (credit or audit)

Required documents

  • The request application form
  • A copy of National ID card
  • One inch photo
  • A copy of household registration
  • A copy of degree(s) or a letter of completion
  • Transcript

How to submit documents

Via email to Mr Chanyut at chanyut@as.nida.ac.th and edu@as.nida.ac.th or in person at the Education Division counter, School of Applied Statistics on Level 12 of Navamindhradhiraj Building anyday between 9am to 5pm (except public holidays).

NOTE

  • Credit enrollment is for credit and assessed courses that the results are displayed.
  • Audit enrollment is for non-credit and assessed courses that the results are displayed as passed or failed.
  • During the course of study, enrolments may be changed from credit to audit. 
  • Mr.Chanyut will send documents approved by a lecturer to the Educational Service Division to coordinate enrollments. 
  • Associate students may become regular students through the usual application and selection processes.

Fees

  1. Credit enrollment fee
    Regular semester courses (R1 Group): 4,500 baht per course
    Special semester courses (B1 Group): 10,500 baht per course
  2. Information services: 600 baht
  3. Institute maintenance fee: 4,000 baht
  4. Technology services: 700 baht
